| So I went to Discovery Camp, and usually it's like "wow that was great" go home and in a few days it doesn't even touch me anymore, this year totally changed me, I AM FREE God freed me from so much, There as so many things that were becomeing idols in my life and I gave it all to God at Discovery Camp, and he's blessed me so much, my life is his, my heart is his, and nothing in this world can touch me. Church has been AMAZING as well, God's been showing me so much. I LOVE going to Prayer as before I would complain about it, I love it now. It's just another chance to move in the Spirit and worship God, I've started bringing a notebook to write down my prayers with the date so I can look back and remember what was on my heart that day. And Praise and Worship at church, wow, especially yesterday, I got to lead a song with my dad, which really excited me, and my friends are like "You did good on your solo" Guys it was leading worship, it's not preforming, and it's teriffing, and amazing all at once. You have to fully and completly trust God to bless your voice and move threw you, and I was shaking the whole time. But I did things with my voice that day that I didn't even know I could do. And I give NO glory to myself, all the glory goes to God, he's the one that gave me the strength to sing, and the ability, to even for a moment sing the way I dd. But I know that without a doubt that God was there, I felt it there, I had pray for God to help me keep singing because I was about to start crying my eyes out. we didn't even GET TO the sermon because the pressence of God was just moving so much It was an amazing thing to be apart of, That's why I love the Praise Team so much, because I get to see the result of what God can do with a willing heart, I get to be apart of leading people into that place with God and it's so confedence building and humbling all at the same time and my gosh guys I can't even explain it GOD IS GOOD!!! | | |
| Wow, Alot has happened... I sing harmonies pretty much ALL THE TIME now, I love them though. I haven't been able to sing up there in a week though, I miss it, I can't wait to sing on Sunday I am NOT missing prayer this Saturday unless I ABSOLUTLY have too, I hate not being able to sing on the platform, I love the praise team!! I've been playing my guitar ALOT I've been playing pretty much everytime I go up to my room today...which is alot. I love it though, music is such an amazing thing. I got my hair done!! haha I'm a blonde now lol I have like platunum blonde over a redish brown color, or basically, I'm reverse Payge lol. But I like it alot, I look more like someone who would sing on a stage now lol, and my hair fraking matches my guitar!! haha I just figured that our today...lol. I'm had a ton of drama too...but that's just life, I get over it an realize that all things work together for good...so it'll alwork out, God is just good like that :) It's summer now too, and I've been super busy with dance practice and getting ready for Discovery Camp, I'm super excited...and no I CANNOT dance, but it's a good thing Payge put me in the BACK because I just can't dance AT ALL lol but I still have so much fun, my youth group is full of such silly people and we laugh alot. | So I know I haven't updated in a while but OHWELLLLLSSSS.... Anyways, this weekend was AMAZING Friday Jess took me to Club S.M.A.C.K which is ran by an old friend of ours, Anthony lol. and I got to see Tracy, and hangout with Brittany, It was like we were all back at Club Red Letter again...except all three of us have grown so much, and there wasn't any fighting. Saturday, I hung out with Jess till I had to go to dance practice, I always love hanging with Jess, she's the bestest I love her. Sunday, I had a ton of Harmonys to sing, I love singing harmony, it's so addictive, but praise and worship was pretty long, I love it when praise and worship goes over time, and I love when I have to trust God to sing the right thing, I learn so much, about my life, God, and music being on the praise team. But worship was AMAZING!! Today, I'm super duper tired, I woke up early, went to Algebra, had a good time talking with Keirsten and Clarissa, then came home and crashed...till about 4 when my dad woke me...an now I won't be able to sleep tonight...wonderful lol Anyways IILOOVEYOUUUALLLL!! -Meagan | | |
